Gatecrasher Films Announces Completion of Three Feature Films
Houston, TX, and Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 28, 2008 -- Gatecrasher Films is pleased to announce its principal and in-house director, Amir Valinia, has completed directing three films, shot consecutively.
"Lords of the Street" is an action/crime drama, staring multi-platinum-selling hip-hop artist DMX ("Romeo Must Die", "Exit Wounds") and veteran actor Kris Kristofferson ("Blade", "The Jacket"), and produced by Most Wanted Films. "Lockjaw: Rise of the Kulev Serpent" is a horror/adventure film, also staring DMX and produced by Most Wanted Films and K2 Pictures. "Mutants" is a horror/sci-fi film, starring Michael Ironside ("Top Gun", "Starship Troopers") and Steven Bauer ("Scarface"); produced by K2 Pictures.
Describing his work on the films, Amir stated, "We accomplished so much given the time frame on working the films consecutively. It was a grueling schedule as we worked on the films almost back-to-back-to-back on them. But we had wonderful production support and I'm extremely proud of the work we did". Trailers for the films as well as other works by Amir "Mr.V" Valinia and Gatecrasher Films can be viewed at www.gatecrasherfilms.com.
All three films are distributed by Spotlight Pictures. Recently, the films were represented at the American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, CA. AFM is the world's largest film market where over 8,000 industry leaders and participants and representatives from over 70 countries transact on more than $800 million in production and distribution deals. Titles range from big budget blockbusters that will be released by the major studios in the U.S., to lower budget art house and genre films destined for theaters and televisions around the world.
In addition to feature films, Amir Valinia has either produced and/or directed high-end music videos for many platinum-selling artists such as Paul Wall, Mike Jones, Slim Thug, Juvenile, Daz & Kurrupt, La Mafia and among others.
Gatecrasher Films is full-service motion picture production company, specializing in films, music videos and commercials, using cost-effective strategies and efficient processes and techniques resulting in beautiful motion pictures at ultra-competitive rates.
